The Number 1 Olympic Athlete of India, he is perhaps the most consistent Sports icon of the country having a tally of 14 Medals from Olympics, Commonwealth and Asian Events.

He is the first Indian World Champion wrestler who won the gold medal in the 66 kg freestyle competition at the World Championship 2010. He is the only Indian to have won back to back individual Olympic medals.  A silver medal in the at the 2012 London Olympics and a bronze medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. 

Touted as the messiah for Indian Wrestling, he brought back our country on the Wrestling World's map. He received the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna - India's highest honour for sportspersons. Sushil won the gold medal in 74 kg Men's freestyle in 2014 Commonwealth Games at Glasgow.

Sangram became first wrestler who represented India in amateur wrestling and become world’s best professional wrestler in 2012.

His soaring fame in the wrestling arena with each passing day did not go unnoticed in the entertainment world. Leading television channels began seeking his presence on the small screen. He participated in several reality shows. Today he is a known face in Film and Television industry. 

Sangram Singh is first Indian to sign death contract for Commonwealth Wrestling Heavyweight Championship. According to which, the organisers can't be held responsible for any casualty during the last-man-standing fight. Although he had not participated in a Professional fight for more than three years, the wrestler chose a ‘last man standing’ fight to mark his return and made the country proud by defeating Canada's Joe Legend to win the WWP Commonwealth Championship at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in South Africa on 18th July 2015.

Hailed as the prodigy of Sushil Kumar, Amit Dahiya is a wrestler who represented India atthe 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom and was the youngest wrestler everto represent India at the Olympics while also being the youngest athlete of the 2012 IndianOlympic delegation. Coming from a very modest background and wrestling from the age ofseven, Amit started training at Chhatrasal Stadium under the expert guidance of Guru Satpal and Olympian Sushil Kumar. Winning many medals at international level amongst recent Gold medal at 2014 Commonwealth Games at Budapest, he is real hopeful of winning another accolade for India at Rio Olympics 2016.
